Thu, 24 Oct 2013BMW M235i official photos leak The new BMW 2-Series has been leaking like a sieve this week, and we’ve already seen photos of the new BMW M235i from a dealer presentation. Now, ahead of an official reveal tomorrow, and ahead of a public debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2014, we get a leak of a set of official photos of the M235i. The M235i will be the range-topping BMW 2-Series at launch and, as you can see in the photos, gets some M goodness with bigger air intakes and alloys.
Infinit FX50: The Sebastian Vettel Edition?
Fri, 26 Aug 2011Infiniti FX50 to spawn a Sebastian Vettel Limited Edition We have said it before, and we’ll say it again: Infiniti are pursuing a strange path to establish themselves in the UK and Europe. For a start, Infiniti should surely have set themselves as the antidote to the Lexus hybrid obsession; claimed the market for quality Japanese cars with a sporting edge? But they’ve missed the boat now Lexus appears to have found its sporting mojo under a rock in the basement and is setting out to make the new GS a proper luxury sports saloon.
Skoda Fabia vRS 2000 (an open-topped vRS) at Worthersee
Thu, 02 Jun 2011Skoda Fabia vRS 2000 Concept Yes, it’s Wörthersee Tour time again. Which explains why we have an OTT Skoda on display - the Skoda Fabia vRS 2000. Finished in the same striking green as the production Skoda Fabia vRS, the vRS 2000 is a concept car put together just for the GTI-Treffen event in Worthersee and is based on the Fabia vRS 2000 rally car and, as Skoda boss said, Worthersee “…is a welcome opportunity for us to show off our sports models and make sure that everyone knows that Škoda really has something to offer here.” It would have been hard to believe even just a few years ago that a car like the vRS 200 could ever come out of Skoda, but we’re now at the point where, if you can set aside badge snobbery, Skoda often has more to offer than parent VW.
