Alfa Romeo Giulietta – UK prices and models
Thu, 29 Apr 2010Alfa Romeo has announced prices for the Alfa Giulietta Its little brother – the Alfa Romeo MiTo – started the ball rolling. For the first time in my lifetime an Alfa Romeo – albeit a little one – was not just reliable, but it was also a sensible buy. So you could buy your little runaround with your heart and your head wouldn’t blow a gasket.
McLaren 12C Spider: Official
Tue, 03 Jul 2012After a tease last week McLaren Automotive has revealed the convertible MP4-12C – the McLaren 12C Spider. We did think there was a chance McLaren would try to steal Ferrari’s thunder by revealing the convertible version of the MP4-12C at Goodwood this last weekend, but they didn’t. But today the McLaren 12C Spider (not the MP4-12C Spider) is officially revealed, and by the look of it no one will be buying the MP4-12C any more.
How to buy a secondhand Ferrari 456
Fri, 10 Apr 2009By Chris Chilton Motoring Issues 10 April 2009 10:00 The value of Ferrari’s big 2+2s have always gone down the tubes like used toilet roll, but not all have looked as beautiful as the 456, whose Pininfarina lines so cleverly disguise the car’s practicality. It can’t quite match a 612 for rear space but the back seats aren’t the joke you might expect and the ride quality is great – perfect for that imaginary trip to the south of France. Mike Wheeler of Surrey-based Rardley Motors (www.rardleymotors.co.uk) reckons he shifts more 456s than anyone else in the country and says the big coupés make real sense, but only if you service them at independents.
