Up for sale is a used Hall-Craft parallel shaft v-drive with 17% gears. It has 1 inch input and output shafts and a tach drive. The center plate is 23 1/2 inches wide. This is a used v-drive and we have not taken it apart but it does spin freely and makes no bad noises.

Nissan Leaf owner arrested for stealing electricity
Thu, 05 Dec 2013File this under a problem we’ll see more of in the future: An Atlanta Nissan Leaf owner was arrested for stealing five, count ‘em, five cents-worth of electricity from his child’s middle school last month, according to NBC 11 Alive. Kaveh Kamooneh was at Chamblee Middle School where his son was playing tennis. Kamooneh saw the open outlet and figured he’d grab a few electrons while he watched the game.

Nissan Leaf gets battery warranty boost
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Nissan Motor Co. plans to bolster the warranty of the battery module in its electric Leaf to reassure consumers of its durability. The company intends to notify current owners and dealers early next year that it will make the warranty retroactive to cover all existing Leafs, offering to repair or replace the car’s lithium-ion battery if it loses more than 30 percent of its ability to hold a charge after five years or 60,000 miles.
