The socket terminals are for push on wire terminals. The blue and green lens are very dark but illuminate very bright color when lite up. These sockets come with a old brushed alum. looking bezel. Socket itself is some kind of tough plastic and does not melt very easy. I tested them for hours with the lamp on.
