Audi A3 E-tron coming to select U.S. markets

Audi confirmed on Monday that it will begin a pilot program for the battery-electric A3 E-tron in the United States. The announcement was made at the 2012 Technology, Entertainment and Design conference in Long Beach, Calif. The A3 E-tron is based on the successful Audi A3 hatchback.

Former Chevrolet Volt chief takes helm at Fisker

One of the key architects of the Chevrolet Volt is taking the helm of Fisker Automotive. Tony Posawatz, a veteran General Motors executive, has replaced former Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda as chief executive of Fisker.
