Car games galore at the Electronic Entertainment Expo

“Nearly every American plays video games,” said Mike Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association. Lucky for you, the car enthusiast, nearly every video-game maker also makes a car-related video game. And just about all video-game makers gather once a year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, held again in the very same Los Angeles Convention Center that houses the LA auto show.

Drivers 'filmed M11 crash scene'

POLICE SAY they were "shocked and amazed" at the number of motorists caught filming the aftermath of a motorway car crash in Essex on their phones while still driving. Officers were called to the rush hour collision involving a silver VW Golf and blue Vauxhall Zafira which struck each other on the southbound carriageway of the M11 near Loughton. Paramedics and firefighters also attended the incident at 8.30am on Monday.

Peugeot confirms BB1 for production

Peugeot has confirmed it will build a production version of the BB1, the concept car that's a cross between a car and a scooter. Coming less than a week after it unveiled the SR1 – a roadster concept car that’s supposed to be a line in the sand for Peugeot design – the announcement came as the 200-year old French car company launched its Marque plan that'a aimed at rejuvenating the brand. The five-year scheme has three goals: to move Peugeot up three places in the world car market; to establish the company as a benchmark for style; and to make it a leader in mobility services.
