Fiat 500L launches
Wed, 04 Jul 2012The Fiat 500L – a larger Fiat 500 based on the Punto – has launched in Italy ahead of going on sale in the UK in early 2013. We had the official arrival of the Fiat 500L at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and now we get the 500L’s official launch in Turin – together with lots of new photos and a video – before the 500L goes on sale around the world. The 500L is actually based on the underpinnings of the Punto to create a 500 MPV and, sensibly, Fiat has done with the 500L what MINI did with the Countryman and slapped an iconic badge on even though the 500L bears scant resemblance to its cute little sibling.
Geneva Show 2014: BMW goes front-wheel-drive with 2 Series
Tue, 04 Mar 2014HISTORY has been made on the BMW stand at the Geneva Motor Show as it has revealed the production version of its first front-wheel-drive car. The 2 Series Active Tourer is a compact MPV, also a new segment for the firm, and under the distinctive exterior it uses the same chassis and clever three-cylinder engine as seen in the new Mini. In doing so it becomes the first production BMW to send drive to the front wheels alone.

Mon, 04 Feb 2013On June 30th, 1953, the first Corvette rolled off the assembly line in Flint, Michigan. Sixty years later and half a country away, the Petersen will honor America's fiberglass wonder within its halls on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, with a weekend of activities.
