A pair of gently used Harley-Davidson Faring Air Deflectors. They have some very light buffing marks from normal cleaning, I used a micro-fiber rag when cleaning my shield or any kind of plastics to avoid swirling. These are clear with chrome strips of side edging, which can be peeled right off if needed. I have 2 pairs (4) that look exactly alike, one has the chrome edging, one pair doesn't. The 2nd pair (with the grass as the background) is just as good as the 1st, some very light buffing marks from normal cleaning, I'll include those in also in the same auction. Gar Wood's Miss America VIII race boat to be auctioned in Florida
Wed, 04 Jan 2012Famed boat racer Gar Wood's two-time Harmsworth Trophy-winning race boat, Miss America VIII, will be offered at Mecum's Kissimmee Auction on Jan. 28 in Kissimmee, Fla. Wood piloted the boat to the Harmsworth Trophy in 1929 and 1931, the latter event witnessed by more than 600,000 people gathered on the shores of the Detroit River to watch.
