Webber arrived fresh from his first outing at the Le Mans 24 hour race with new team Porsche, following his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of last season.

That success has lead a US analyst - Yra Harris of Praxis – to declare that GM has Tesla in its sights as an acquisition target in 2014.

After all, every other car maker is at it at the moment. But Kia are teasing this ahead of the next big motor show after Geneva – the 2010 New York Motor Show – which isn’t until April.
