FOR AUCTION: FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS AND MASTER CYLINDER WITH BRAKE HANDLE REMOVED FROM A 1982 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER. CRANK WENT OUT AND I DECIDED TO PART THE WHOLE THING. PLEASE NOTE PICTURES: WELL-USED. THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS AND MASTER CYLINDER WORKED JUST FINE WHEN I BROKE DOWN. PAINT IS CHIPPED OFF IN PLACES AS WELL AS SOME RUST ON BRAKE LINES AND FITTINGS. BRAKE HANDLE FINISH HAS SOME CHIPS WITH CORROSION IN THOSE PLACES. I WILL DRAIN THIS UNIT AND PUSH BACK PISTON(S) TO DRAIN FLUID, SINCE I CANNOT SHIP WITH FLUID, SO IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO FILL AND BLEED THIS UNIT PROPERLY. Thu, 20 May 2010The Morris Ital - one of Morris Ital by Giorgetto Giugiaro's greatest (sort of) It’s probably a fair bet – or at least was and has been for some time – that Volkswagen would be in the frame to buy an motoring asset that comes on the market. Especially if that asset is in trouble and an iconic name can be grabbed for a song – or less. Which explains why the names of VW and Giugiaro’s Italdesign are being linked together as the Italian designer appears to seek a car maker to rescue it from the woes of being an independent in these rather troubled times.

Thu, 17 Mar 2011Following on from the DeZir and Captur, the R-Space took to the stage at Geneva alongside the Twizy and Zoe to complete a healthy concept car showing from Renault. An upbeat, funky vision of the MPV segment sees the R-Space omit B-pillars in favor of a frameless suicide door set up. This allows uninterrupted access to the interior, which is the main focal point of the concept. Seemingly split into two sections, the rear has been designed with children in mind and features a bevy of motorized cubes that can alter the seating arrangement for child, adult or even baby seats.
2012 Ford Focus ST gets 297bhp
Fri, 30 Nov 2012Those clever chaps at SuperChips have given the 2012 Ford Focus ST a bit of an ECU tweak to deliver 297bhp and an extra 85lb/ft of torque. When we reported last week that WTC outfit Arena had in roped Ford’s tuner of choice, Mountune, to give the new Ford Focus a makeover, we were a tad disappointed to discover that they were tweaking the rather journeyman Focus Zetec S. That meant the Zetec S got 200bhp – a handy jump – but we bemoaned the fact that they hadn’t fiddled with the Focus ST to give us a car to fill the void left by the absence of a Focus RS in the current iteration of the Focus.
