Davidson Performance Eyewear uses durable and impact resistant lenses and frame
materials that are put through the most stringent tests to ensure they pass the
2010 ANSI standards. The 2010 ANSI
standards require the frame and lens be tested as a unit. If at any time during
the testing process the lens dislodges from the frame, the style fails. ANSI High Mass Impact Test: H-D ANSI approved frames and lenses
must withstand the weight of a 1.1 lb pointed projectile dropped from a height
of 50”. ANSI High Velocity Impact Test: H-D ANSI approved frames and lenses
must withstand the impact of a .25 inch diameter steel ball fired at a speed of
150 fps. This is repeated 20 times from different angles to make sure the
lenses and frames are practically indestructible. Polycarbonate Lens: 10 times more impact resistant than
plastic lenses. It is also lightweight, provides 100% UVA and UVB protection,
scratch resistant, and durable. AIER Anti-Fog: minimizes build-up of condensation that
causes fogging. Impacto: developed for Military, Safety and Sport
Eyewear, it provides 5-6 times more impact resistance than standard
polycarbonate lenses. EVS Technology: (Enhanced Visual System) provides 20%
wider field of vision from edge to edge as compared to conventional lenses. Questions? http://www.facebook.com/candccustomcycle Add our store to your favorites list and visit often! stores.ebay.com/candccustomcycle |

Silverstone unveils new F1 Circuit
Sat, 01 May 2010The new Silverstone F1 Circuit was revealed this week Bernie will be pleased It’s been a bit of a saga for Silverstone and the BRDC of late, with a backwards and forwards ‘will-they, won’t-they’ get to host the British Grand Prix going forward. Bernie Ecclestone finally announced that Silverstone would host the 2010 British Grand Prix back in December - although it could be argued only by default after Donnington went belly-up – and the circuit upgrades are nicely in time for the 2010 British Grand Prix in July. Prince Andrew did the official opening on Thursday and got the chance to lap the track in a 2-seater F1 car with Damon Hill at the wheel and former F1 driver – and now BBC pundit – David Coulthard also on track in a Red Bull.
Mugen Honda CR-Z Hybrid – but don’t get too excited
Sat, 27 Feb 2010The Honda CR-Z Hybrid gets the Mugen treatment Honda are trying to tell anyone who will listen that the Hybrid Honda CR-Z is a modern version of the Honda CRX. You know, all fun and sporty and nimble and on the right side of warm, but with all the green goodness people think they have to want. We haven’t actually come across anyone who buys in to the idea, but Honda aren’t giving up on the marketing pitch of the Honda CR-Z as the first ‘Sporty’ hybrid with the production version of the CR-Z debuting at Geneva next week.
