College Exhibition: Art Center Summer Show 2011 - Non-thesis work
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Art Center College of Design held its annual Summer Degree show at its campus in Pasadena, California on the eve of the Pebble Beach weekend of events. Besides their main crux of thesis projects, nine graduating students in the acclaimed Transportation Design course showcased some of the designs they worked on during their internships and in previous years. First SRT Viper sells for $300,000 at California auction
Mon, 25 Jun 2012The first 2013 SRT Viper sold for $300,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Costa Mesa, Calif., on June 23. The final price made the Viper the top seller of the event. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, which helps families and children affected by pediatric cancer.

We have a big soft spot for the wondrous creations of Christian von Koenigsegg, and the latest versions of the Agera and Agera R bring even more to the party than before. We had the chance to get up close with the Koenigsegg Agera at Goodwood this summer (well, Claire did – thanks, Tom) and were enormously impressed at the levels of craftsmanship and quality a minnow of a car maker like Koenigsegg manages to achieve.
