Harley K Model Hummer Spline Shift Lever W/peg For Shifter Rubber on 2040-parts.com
Phoenix, Arizona, US
This
is a nice OEM shift lever for Harley Davidson Hummer and early K and KH Model
motorcycles. Pretty sure it fits K’s and
KH’s from 1952 to mid-year 54. It is the
type that fits the splined shifter shaft.
The shaft pinch bolt threads into the shifter unlike the later versions
that use a bolt and nut, and the rubber shifter peg goes through the shift lever
and is secured with a nut on the other side.
The OEM shifter peg included is the correct one and you can use the shifter
rubber from the later peg on this one.

CDN and GM launch new interactive competition for students in North America
Tue, 12 Apr 2011Multiple internships on offer with CDN-GM Interactive Competition Car Design News is pleased to announce the launch of the Car Design News-GM interactive design competition, a collaboration with GM and our partners, Dassault Systèmes and Faurecia. Eight student winners will be awarded internships at GM's design studios in North America in 2012 as the principal prizes, whilst our partner, Faurecia, will be choosing its own additional winner and offering this student an internship at its studios in either the US, Europe or Asia. The competition is open to students studying at college/university level in the USA and Canada, on any design course, and to former students who graduated from these courses within the period April 2010 to March 2011. Students display and update their ideas and work-in-progress on the competition's website, where the interactivity comes from the ability of observers to comment and suggest specific amendments, and from GM mentors who will publicly guide and support the students.
Brilliance A3: China’s BMW X1 substitute. A Rose by any other name?
Sun, 27 Mar 2011The Brilliance A3 - China's BMW X1 Lookalike The easy headline would be ‘Brilliance A3 – BMW X1 Clone’. But that would be a little unfair to Brilliance. Western car makers – as we’ve mentioned many times before – are compelled by Chinese law to partner with a local car maker if they are to trade in China.
Honda NSX: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 16 Jan 2013A new version of the Honda NSX Concept (Acura NSX) has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, this time with an interior. But last year, at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, Honda turned up with the first concept of the new NSX, complete with a confession that this NSX wasn’t a done deal for production, but a work in progress. That work in progress is now back at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and comes with a few tweaks to the styling but, more importantly, the first idea of how the interior will look when the new NSX does arrive in a couple of years (probably).
