Harley Twin Cam SE-203 Camshafts Complete Assembly with Lifters and Oil Pump EXC

1999-2006 (except 2006 Dyna) Harley Twin Cam engine camshaft assembly. Complete assembly with SE-203 cams, mounting plate, oil pump (aligned to plate), sprockets, cam sprocket spacer, chains, tensioners, bearings, hardware, fasteners, and lifters as shown. All lifter, cam, tensioner, and bearing surfaces are excellent, and have all been carefully inspected. The stock camplate assembly was taken off of a very low-mileage (under 10,000 miles) running motor and the cams have likely far less. The rear camshaft and sprocket are the 2001-2006 splined type with the upgraded bearing style and not the 1999-2000 keyed style with press-fit bearing. As part of the upgrade, the oil pump was removed, inspected, re-packed with assembly lube, a new o-ring was installed, and the oil pump assembly was re-installed properly to the camplate with alignment pins then bolts with locktite torqued to spec. All assembly was performed per the factory service manual procedures with the proper professional specialty tools. Fits all Harley Twin Cam 88 engines 1999 - 2006 (except 2006 Dyna). These parts were removed and handled very carefully by an experienced engine mechanic, this is not a hack job. Screamin' Eagle SE-203 cam kit is part #25937-99B. The lifters are #18538-99 (made in USA). Both chain tensioners are pinned to relax tension for easy installation. Really nothing else is required for installation if done by opening the cam chest and rocker box covers as those gaskets can typically be re-used, although a set of adjustable pushrods (i.e. Screamin' Eagle #17997-99A) can make the job a bit quicker. Please also note for installation, the (6) camplate to camchest mounting bolts #4741A and (2) small o-rings #11303 between the camplate and camchest would be re-used. It is also good practice to replace the oil pump inlet o-ring #11293 instead of re-using the original (this new o-ring is included). This is a very nice setup for a stock TC-88 engine that will bolt right in with no special tools or tuning and should last for tens of thousands of miles. Buy here and save your money.

Essex man builds his own road-legal F1 car

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

OK, first things first – this isn't really an F1 car. In fact, aside from the Red Bull livery, it shares very little in common with a real F1 car. But we couldn't help but take a closer look.
