Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S (2007): first official pictures
Tue, 28 Aug 2007By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 28 August 2007 11:10 Super-saloon It is, but Quattroporte sounds better than ‘four-door’ - which is the literal translation - and when the whole thing is said in an Italian accent then there are few more evocative names on the market. Add Sport GT S to that and you’re now looking at the most focused Quattroporte yet. Citroën invites design ideas via Facebook
Wed, 04 Apr 2012Citroën has launched a Facebook app calling for users to select design features for what it calls a special edition car, the first crowdsourced car in the UK. Rather than the genuinely design-led competitions we've seen recently from Renault (Twizy) and Citroën's own DS3, ‘You Like It, We Make It', offers six configurations such as exterior and interior color scheme, technology options like Bluetooth and SatNav, alloys, and the number of doors the vehicle has. The Citroeën C1 Connexion special edition will be kitted out with the most popular ideas and those participating via the app will be in with a chance of winning the car when it goes on sale later in the year.
Peel P50 back in business
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Did you know you can buy a brand new Peel P50? That’s the tiny three-wheeled microcar Jeremy Clarkson famously drove around the inside of BBC Television Centre for an episode of Top Gear in 2007, and holder of the Guinness world’s smallest production car title for over 50 years. Turns out it was put back into production in 2010, and is now assembled under licence by a company called Grasshopper in Nottingham.
