This auction is for two aluminum head brackets used to convert an 04-09 CRF250R to accept a 1989-2001 CR500 engine. This is not an auction for the completed frame just for the head brackets. These head brackets are made of 1/4" thick 5052 aluminum. They are cut out on a CNC laser then bent to shape on a CNC break then de-burred in a media tumbler. These brackets position the engine at just the right angle taking the guess work out of the conversion process.

Thu, 10 May 2012Saab 9-3 Convertible – Last 26 RHD cars up for grabs The last 26 RHD Saab 9-3 Convertible models – hand finished in Sweden – are now for sale in the UK from £22,750. Back in March – at the same time we reported the Saab Museum had re-opened – we were also able to report that ANA, the Saab dealers in Trollhatten, have bought up the part-made cars left on the Saab production line and were going to finish them off and put them up for sale. Fortunately for UK Saab lovers, 26 of those cars were RHD Saab 9-3 Convertibles - including the very last limited edition Saab 9-3 Independence – and they have now found their way to the UK and are up for grabs.

The GT3 has had only minor modifications to its looks, instead the detail, as you would hope, has gone on under the skin. The engine has gone up in size from the old 3.6 litres to 3.8, yielding an increase in bhp – up to 435bhp.
