300hp Nissan Sport Sedan Concept shocks Detroit 2014

Nissan is 80 years old in 2014, and as part of its birthday celebrations the Japanese firm has unveiled a brand-new Sport Sedan Concept at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. 'Sedan' is the American term for a saloon car – and as the rest of its name suggests, Nissan is aiming to make this four-door far sportier than your average executive express. GTbyCitroen does London

The GTbyCitroen has been out seeing the sights in London And so it has been lately with the Citroen Supercar – the GTbyCitroen. We’ve had the news that the UK debut of the GT Citroen will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July – where it will tackle Goodwood’s Hillclimb – and just a few weeks before we learnt that the GTbyCitroen was going to make an appearence and put in a parade lap at Le Mans. And now, no doubt because the GTbyCitroen is in the UK for Goodwood, Citroen has been out playing at London Tourist – blatting around town in the GT.

Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe photos arrive early

We didn’t expect the CrossBlue Coupe to look quite as dramatically ‘squashed’ as the design sketches, and it doesn’t. But it does look like a decidedly rakish SUV with a distinctly more coupe look than the full-sized CrossBlue SUV we saw at Detroit in January. Apart from being sleeker than its boxy sibling, the CrossBlue Coupe is also less compendious, and drops the full 7-seats the Crossblue had in favour of a 5-set layout.
