GM spending $336 million on plant upgrades for Volt production
Mon, 07 Dec 2009General Motors on Monday said it would spend $336 million on upgrades to the Hamtramck plant near downtown Detroit to build the Chevrolet Volt hybrid car. The plant will begin building Volt prototypes next spring, using the Hamtramck plant's existing production line. Production of saleable vehicles begins next fall.

Fri, 14 Feb 2014José Mourinho and the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe The new Jaguar F-Type Coupe seems to have been around for ages already, but last night was actually its official UK launch, despite being revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show three months ago. Jaguar roped in a number of its ‘Ambassadors’ for the event at East Winter Garden in Canary Wharf including its newest recruit, Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who is due to get the first customer F-Type Coupe in the UK next month. Jaguar took the opportunity to use its latest advert ‘Rendezvous’ featuring Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong as a trio of villainous Brits that first aired in the US during the recent Super Bowl, to kick proceedings off and add life to the #GoodToBeBad campaign.
