Datsun Go (2013) Datsun’s revival begins with new city car

The car is slightly longer, wider and lower than a European-spec Nissan Micra, comes in one five-door bodystyle, and will go on sale on 15 July 2013.

That's right, Hennessey Performance saw a gap in the market for rear-wheel drive domestic sedans with 1,000 hp on tap, and like any smart business, went for it. In fact, we don't know why this niche hasn't been filled until now.
Ford puts Volvo up for sale

This hardly comes as a surprise when you see the precarious state of Ford. It’s busy going cap-in-hand to the US government looking for a bail out, and selling off Volvo could add several hundred million pounds to its decimated balance sheet.
