Lexus GS Coupe planned for 2013
We do have a habit of complaining that Lexus cars have a paucity of appeal in the driving and styling departments, but maybe plans for a new Lexus GS Coupe will change our minds. It looks as though Lexus are looking seriously at adding coupes in to their range, at least according to Lexus Product Planning Manager Ben J. Mitchell, who confessed as much in conversation with Inside Line.

Aston Martin Rapide - doesn't seem to be selling
It took AML an age to get the Aston Martin Rapide to market, but they eventually managed it and the first customer Rapide finally left Magna Steyr in May 2010. The general consensus was that the Rapide was something of a triumph for Aston Martin. They’d managed to squeeze an extra pair of doors in to a stretched DB9 and made the back seats of the Rapid just about commodious enough to be useable.

Kia’s ‘Stunning Sports Car Concept’ is the Kia GT4 Stinger
Just before Christmas, Kia revealed the first teaser photo – a birds-eye view – of a new concept they’re taking to the Detroit Auto Show later this month, which they described as a stunning sports concept, but gave us absolutely nothing else. We did hope it may be something that points towards a proper performance Kia, although we half expected it to turn out to be a 3-pot city runaround. But actually, it looks quite promising.
