BMW M650d & M750d on the way BMW are planning to offer the new tri-turbo diesel from the new M550d in the 6 Series and new 7 Series. Paris launch likely. The BMW M Division range of cars – the power of ‘M’ with the frugality of diesel – officially arrived at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, offering performance almost on a par with BMW’s M cars but with the joy of frugality when you aren’t in the mood to drive like your hair’s on fire.

Ford is launching the Ford Fiesta Sport+ Now the latest Ford Fiesta has matured nicely in to the market, Ford are busy tweaking what the Fiesta has to offer in response to feedback from sales in the first year (over 350k sold). We had a revision of the Fiesta range back in October (models tweaked and a new top-end Fiesta Individual revealed) and before that we had the Fiesta Sport, an all show and no go version. But now we get the Ford Fiesta Sport+ if you want your Fiesta to look ‘Sporty+’.

Lack of history loses 20% of a car’s value

A CAR being sold without a full service history is worth one-fifth less on average than a car with a fully stamped service book. This amounts to an average of £1464 for the typical used car sold in the UK with a price of £7706. A study by Kwik Fit found buyers expect a 19% discount for cars with incomplete or no service history, which is costing the used car industry £10 billion per year in lost revenue.
