BMW confirms X4 production
Thu, 22 Sep 2011BMW has confirmed plans for an X4 SUV, a spokesman told Autoweek. As the name implies, the ute would slot in between the X3 and the X5 and likely get an M variant. BMW would distinguish the X4 from the other models with a bolder face and perhaps a curvier body--much in the manner in which the X6 stands out from the rest of the SUV line.
Ford Ranger gets rollover control for 2010
Fri, 06 Feb 2009The Ford Ranger pickup will roll into the 2010 model year this summer equipped with the automaker's stability-control system that includes a rollover sensor. The rollover sensor measures the truck's angle of tilt and engages the antilock braking system to help prevent a rollover. Ford uses the technology, which it calls AdvanceTrac with RSC, throughout its vehicle lineup.

Sat, 21 Jul 2012The next MINI to hit showrooms – the MINI Paceman – has been caught testing at the Nurburgring ahead of a Paris Motor Show. We did think that the MINI Paceman – which arrived at the Detroit Auto Show last year as a concept – would make it to market as a Countryman Coupe. But just last month MINI let it be known that they’re actually going with the funkier Paceman rather than the descriptive, though predictable, MINI Countryman Coupe for the production version of the Paceman which will debut in production guise at the Paris Motor Show in September.
