This 3540 brake proportioning valve was removed from a 1990 Honda Honda Civic Ex with 10.3" front brakes. It is in great condition. It worked flawlessly before it was removed and it comes from a non-accident car. Also know as brake biasing valve or brake distribution valve.

OEM Honda part number: 46210-SJ4-Q02 which was $163.35-$150.22 before it was discontinued.

This is a necessary component for 10.3" Ex or DA front brake swaps where the rears are drums (and not disc brakes.) It creates the intended proportioning on EF Honda Civic, CRX, Hatchback, and Wagon models. Your car’s brakes are only as good as their proportioning is correct. This can be used as an OEM replacement on 90-91 Civic Ex models or as a brake swap component on other models

This part is a direct bolt in replacement or upgrade for Hondas with the ‘EF’ chassis code.

·         1988 -91 Honda CRX (Hf, Dx, and Si)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic (Ex, Dx, and LS)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic Hatchback (Dx or Si)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic Wagon (including RT4WD)

This item is also the best OEM valve available for DA knuckle/caliper swaps and big brake kits such as Brembo, K-Sport, Wilwood, AEM, Endless, Rotora, Spoon, Fastbrakes, Dynalite, and Black Label where the rear still has drum brakes.

This will be well packaged and shipped promptly. Please email any questions you may have before bidding. This auction is being offered to the USA only. Thanks for looking and good luck!

China’s Geely to bring Emgrand range to UK in 2013

Sat, 20 Aug 2011

Geely are planning to bring their Emgrand range to the UK We didn’t think Geely would venture to the West with any of their own brand cars, expecially as Geely is doing very well with its Swedish purchase – Volvo. But it seems that Geely is planning on bringing their cars – certainly the ‘Premium’ Emgrand range – to the UK by 2013. Regular readers may remember the Rolls Royce Phantom ‘Homage’ built by Geely and, more recently and more convincingly, their take on the MINI and the London Taxi.

BMW Motorsport has released pictures of its upgraded Z4 GT3 race car. The 2011 car has completed testing and is available for customer teams. BMW Z4 GT3: the lowdown The Z4 GT3 may look like a regular Z4 that's been attacked by a boy-racer with a carbonfibre and tea-tray rear wing fetish. But under the skin the Z4 GT3 ditches straight-six power for a 4.4-litre motorsport-tuned V8 engine, hooked up to a six-speed racing transmissionBMW Motorsport takes a regular Z4 coupe-cabriolet body shell, and removes the retractable hardtop, bonnet, bootlid, front and rear wings and the bumpers.
