I have a Honda CR 125 motor that I ran in a shifter kart road series.

The case number is 5400195.

I alternated running two different motors over two seasons...and didn't run every event.

It was also my first kart, thus I wasn't very good at it (still aren't actually)...so the motor wasn't driven hard.

Since rebuild of the lower end, it has approximately 7 hours run time.

The lower end rebuild included a new crank from Crank Works in Tempe AZ, new OEM Main Bearings, new gaskets, seals and o-rings.

At the same time, a new Cylinder was purchased from Fast Tech Racing.

The top end was just serviced with a new piston, rings, bearing and pin...and run less than an hour.

The Power Valve was removed and replaced with plugs from Sharkshifter...there is a Sharkshifter plug in the kickstart bore also.

The head has been machined by Superdyne in Glendale AZ to accept two o-rings instead of the expensive OEM Head Gasket.

I am including a bag of o-rings (not shown in pictures) with the motor...enough to keep you going for several seasons of rebuilds.

This motor includes all you see in the photo...ignition smart box and a SwedeTech bracket, coil and SwedeTech bracket, and Sharkshfter covers for the flywheel, head top and sides and top case.

Note:  The motor is NOT a SwedeTech, FastTech, Superdyne or Sharkshifter built motor.  The names are only used to describe the parts mentioned.

The motor is ready to go practice or race.

Any questions, please email.

2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible revealed

Tue, 16 Nov 2010

The 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible - V8 only in the UK It’s been a few years in the making, but Chevrolet has finally taken the wraps off the convertible version of the latest  Chevy Camaro ahead of its debut at the LA Motor Show next week. The Chevrolet Camaro Convertible – although no one will call it anything other than the Camaro Convertible, or maybe Chevy Camaro Convertible – goes in to production in January and will arrive in the UK and Europe in 2011. GM claim that the work they’ve done to make the Camaro work as a soft top has resulted in a  car that has better torisonal rigidity than a 3-Series Covertible, thanks to stuff like a tower-to-tower brace under the hood, a transmission support reinforcement brace.

McLaren MP4-12C arrives in USA (video)

Fri, 17 Feb 2012

The MP4-12C hits the US The McLaren MP4-12C has finally hit the USA, and to celebrate McLaren has put together a video showing its arrival in America. Being a supercar lover in the USA can have its drawbacks, particularly if you have a penchant for supercars from smaller car makers, because the US can be rather tetchy about letting a handful of supercars on American roads, just in case they destroy the fabric of American society. McLaren had that problem with their last car – the iconic McLaren F1 – and it took years for the legislative mess to be sorted to let ultra rich Americans indulge in a bit of McLaren love (mind you, it also lined McLaren’s pockets as they charged and arm and a leg for software to make US F1s legal).

Saab SOLD to National Electric Vehicle Sweden

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

The Swedish press are reporting this morning that Saab administrators have agreed a deal to sell Saab to National Electric Vehicle Sweden. The Saab Saga has been going on so long it’s hard to think of it is a car maker any more. But that may be about to change.
