CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Mini Cooper S
Mon, 20 Jan 2014By the CAR editorial team First Official Pictures 20 January 2014 14:00 The styling of the new Mini Cooper generated huge debate when we revealed the new hatch on CAR Online late last year. Some of you hated the bulbous, high-shouldered look, while others criticised the stylists for not moving the game on far enough next to rivals like the Citroen DS3 and Audi A1. Infiniti Emerg-E concept
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Infiniti's third recent concept car, the Emerg-E, will debut at the Geneva motor show next week. Following the Essence of 2009 and last year's Etherea, the Emerg-E is the brand's first mid-engined car design. While the proportions of all three cars are very different (thanks to the Essence's front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and the front-engined, front-wheel drive Etherea), their form language is shared.
Jaguar Top Ten all time cars celebrates Jaguar XE launch
Sun, 07 Sep 2014Messrs Callum, Johnson & March chose the Top Ten Jaguars Tomorrow – 8 September 2014 – sees the launch of the car that could make Jaguar a real force in the ‘Premium’ market – the new Jaguar XE. We’ve had lots of teases and detail of the new XE in the last few months, and now Jaguar are stating the heritage of the XE by publishing a list of the ten most important cars in their history, as compiled by a trio of Jaguar loving petrolheads – Ian Callum (Jaguar Designer), Brian Johnson (AC/DC main man) and Lord Charles March (he of Goodwood). The list kicks off with a 1930s Jaguar – the Jaguar SS100 – and goes on to include the Mark 2, C-Type, D-Type, E-Type, the original XJ6 and the Le Mans winning Tom Walkinshaw XJR-9.
