Audi greenlights new Q1 entry-level SUV

Audi has confirmed long-running rumors it will add a new entry-level SUV to its lineup called the Q1. Previewed as a concept called Crosslane Coupe at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the new price-leading SUV is planned to slot into the German automaker's lineup beneath the existing Q3. The price is expected to rival that of the Mini Countryman.

McLaren upgrades MP4-12C for 2013

The McLaren MP4-12C supercar will get a bevy of updates for 2013, and current 12C owners will have access to most of them at no charge. First and most importantly on the list is a power increase, from 592 hp to 616 hp, a 24-horse bump through engine-remapping. The boost in power helps pull the McLaren to a 10.6 quarter-mile, one-tenth of a second faster than in the previous year model.

So over the course of the next month Mercedes will be trotting off to a shopping centre in each major part of the UK (don’t tell the Welsh – or the Northern Irish), with a visit to Braehead in Glasgow, Arndale in Manchester, Bullring in Birmingham and Westfield in London.
