Alfa Romeo 4C finally on sale in 2013?
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It seems the Alfa Romeo 4C may finally arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and on sale soon after. First seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 – when we expected it to go on sale in 2012 – the 4C has been rolled out by Alfa Romeo a few times since – even complete with ‘teasers’ when all that had changed was the colour – to keep up interest in a car that holds much promise but didn’t seem to be heading anywhere. But now, according to Autocar, Alfa Romeo has confirmed that a production version of the Alfa 4C will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale – at least in Europe – later in the year.
2012 Ford Focus Coupe coming – the new Ford Capri
Tue, 23 Nov 2010The Ford Focus Coupe 2012 - The Capri returns Back in May 2009 we ran a story on the return of the Ford Capri which we believed would be based on the 2011 Ford Focus and bring the coupe back in to Ford’s line-up for the first time in too long. And it looks like the story was bang on the money. The new Ford Capri – which looks like it will be badged the Ford Focus Coupe – will be the new Ford Focus three-door; a hot coupe to take on cars like the VW Scirocco.
New Ford Kuga: Titanium and Titanium X make up 87% of sales
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The new Ford Kuga is now hitting UK showrooms, and Ford has revealed that 87% of buyers are opting for the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models. But what’s most interesting – in what is supposed to be a cash-strapped economy – is that a full 87 per cent of all the new Kugas ordered so far have been the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models, and the average up-spend on options is another £1,000 on top of that. That means that although the Ford Kuga range starts at £21,000, 87 per cent of buyers are actually spending between £25-30k on their new compact SUV, which must warm the cockles of Ford’s heart.
