there are some generic cdi units out there that (from what im seeing) work on the fl250 my unit was designed from an original new o.e.m. cdi unit. you wouldnt go to a brain surgeon to get your car fixed--so why would you buy your cdi unit from anyone other than someone that specalizes in odyssey parts and only odyssey parts. this is not just a cdi unit that i found that works--if you own a 81-84 fl250 this is the cdi unit you want. no damaged stators, no burnt pistons--dont take any chances.
