Up for sale is my sons Honda 125 shifter engine package. The engine was built in 2016 by engine tuner Willy Musgrave from MRC Racing in Corona, CA.

I bought this complete engine package in February 2016. My son broke it in at the Calspeed racetrack in Fontana, practiced one day in Monterey Bay for the SKUSA Prokart race and used
it the following weekend for the SKUSA prokart race in Monterey Bay.

The total hours on that engine might be 3 or 4 hours at the most. The piston was replaced before the race and might have one hour on it.

The motor comes with all parts, ready to be bolt on like you can see in the pictures (email me for more pictures, I still have a few that I wasn't able to upload on ebay).

I am also willing to sell just the motor and keep the other components. I am open for suggestions, give me a call, lets talk (760-445-2921).

The engine comes with a 2001 cylinder and performs awesome!

For those of you who aren't familiar with MRC:

Willy Musgrave is one of the best engine tuners out there and we raced his engine all year in 2015. My son became the 2015 Skusa Prokart S3 Shifter Champion as well as the S3 2015 LAKC Shifter Champion.

Team and sponsorship changes required us to move on to another brand.

I am more than happy to bolt it on your kart and you can take it on a test at the Perris or Fontana kart track if you are a serious buyer and make a down payment.

Feel free to call me with any questions at 760-445-2921. My name is Klaus Schmitt from San Marcos, CA.

I will ship it for you at your cost, but local pick-up is preferred. I can also meet at any Southern California race track or upcoming SKUSA Protour or CA Prokart races.

BTCC stars arrive at race meet... with a race-insipred caravan

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

BRITISH Touring Car stars Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden arrived at their most recent race weekend with something a bit out of the ordinary in tow. The pair arrived in a Honda Civic Tourer, liveried up to look just like the racing versions the pair are more used to thrashing around. What’s more, they were towing a caravan just as covered in Honda Yuasa Racing graphics as the car, having meandered across the country stopping only for picnics and barbecues – although they did enjoy a spot of mountain biking too.

The 2010 Car Design of the Year awards, which took place at the annual Car Design Night at La Sip nightclub in Geneva last night, recognized the winners of the best production and concept cars of 2010 as voted by Car Design News readers in an online poll. With over 1000 votes taken in over a three month period, the winners finally emerged as the Range Rover Evoque and the Pininfarina Duettottanta in the Best Production and Best Concept Car design categories, respectively. Officially unveiled at the 2010 Paris motor show, the Range Rover Evoque represents the best translation from concept car to production vehicle we've seen in recent times.

Keyless ignition trends toward standardization

Tue, 05 Apr 2011

A federal plan to require automakers to standardize keyless ignition systems in the wake of Toyota's unintended acceleration problems is likely to mirror industry guidelines issued in January, an automaker group said. Large automakers except Toyota said they already comply with the guidelines crafted by SAE International or plan to do so. These "recommended practices'' seek to counter the variation, driver confusion and safety problems that have ensued since automakers started installing push-button ignition in luxury models.
