Hyundai i10 (2014)

This all-new Hyundai i10 is the second generation of the Korean brand's European-designed and engineered A-segment hatch. It's 80mm longer, 65mm wider and 50mm lower than its predecessor, although its wheelbase has only grown by 5mm. This new set of dimensions reduces some of the upright look of its predecessor as Hyundai strives to shift its model range further upmarket.

And among those will be this, the Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept. Based on the Audi S3, the A3 Clubsport eschews the S3′s 2.0 litre TFSI in favour of Audi’s 5-cylinder 2.5 litre, and in the A3 Clubsport the wick gets turned up considerably to 518bhp and 442lb/ft of torque.

While the Mini Countryman might be destined for suburban mumsville, BMW has confirmed the new model will also terrorise the countryside in the form of the WRC Mini from 2011, with IRC champ Kris Meeke at the wheel. Officially launched at the 2010 Paris motor show in concept guise, the WRC Mini will be engineered and run by motorsport doyen Dave Richards and his Prodrive outfit, although customer packages will be available too, allowing independents to compete in the car.
