Hood Stoboom- Complete System on 2040-parts.com
Alexandria, Virginia, United States
|
I have for sale my Hood Stoboom in-boom mainsail furling system. This is a complete system (no mainsail) to include complete boom, sail track, components, and line tender. This was a fully functioning
unit when removed and has been in storage for the past year. This is perfect for someone that needs replacement parts for
an existing unit since these are almost impossible to find or for someone looking to convert a conventional system. This is being
removed from my Valiant 40 for a different mainsail rig. I will remove remaining components from mast only upon the unit being sold (I
have no storage space). Dimensions are as follows:
Listing says local pick-up only but I will ship within the US or may be able to deliver for a small fee depending on the buyers location. Shipping for this sale will have to be determined after components
are removed, as some of the components will are very irregular. |

Land Rover DC100 concept
Wed, 31 Aug 2011Land Rover's new DC100 concept vehicle is due to make its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, with the manufacturer also confirming that a new Defender is anticipated for 2015. The DC100 concept will be building upon the existing characteristics of the car and it is hoped that the concept will act as a catalyst for debate concerning the future of Defender models. The design team is headed by Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's director of design, who says, "This isn't a production-ready concept but the beginning of a four-year journey to design a relevant Defender for the 21st century." John Edwards, global brand director at Land Rover, explains that the manufacturer wants to engage with existing customers to finalise the details of the new vehicle as part of their plans to direct the future of the Defender.
