2014 Michelin Challenge Design finalists announced

Michelin has announced the 15 finalists of the 2014 Michelin Challenge Design, themed ‘Driven/Undriven: The Duality of Tomorrow's Automobile'. Their work will be showcased in January at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. A judging panel of automotive designers and industry experts selected individuals and teams from Italy, China, South Korea, Finland, Serbia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Guatemala from over 900 registrants from 74 countries.

The Jaguar XF Sportbrake will cost from £31,940 and the XF saloon will  get the new V6 Supercharged 3.0 litre engine for 2013. It’s taken quite a while to get a Jaguar XF Sportbrake price from Jaguar’s bean counters, but they’ve finally decided the entry price for an XF Estate will be the XF Sportbrake 2.2 Diesel SE Business at £31,940, rising to £51,505 for the XF Sportbrake 3.0 Diesel S Portfolio – a premium of around £2.5k for the shed on the back. Porsche 911 Targa revealed - MSN scoops the new, retro 991

This is the first chance to get a full view of the new 2014 911 Targa that Porsche is set to officially launch at January’s Detroit Motor Show. MSN has obtained imagery of the new 991-generation Targa (inset above) and it reveals that the firm is going back to the future with a car that returns to the original Targa style that first appeared back in 1966.
