Auction is for one of the 1971 copies of the cult classic HOW TO KEEP YOUR VOLKSWAGEN ALIVE,  a manual of step by step procedures for the compleat idiot, by John Muir.  This manual covers 1950-1971 VW "Sedan, Ghia & Transporter".
 A real VW enthusiast would want this in their library!  Cover shows some wear with one corner missing but is otherwise "compleat" and clean (by repair manual standards).  Returns within 14 days. Good luck

The 2011 version of the Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang carries a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that weighs less, delivers more power and uses a unique spray-coating process that eliminates the need for cast-iron liners in the aluminum cylinder block. The 550-hp Shelby GT500 also loses something from the previous model--it's gas-guzzler tax. Ford says the new Shelby GT500 will deliver 23 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg in the city.

Volvo will market entry-level car to rival VW Golf

Volvo plans to offer a Volkswagen Golf competitor as part of a plan to expand the automaker's product line. Speaking in London last week, new Volvo CEO Stefan Jacoby said the next generation of the entry-level Volvo “will be a derivation of the C30, a Golf competitor,” according to the Web site www.autocar.co.uk. He also said Volvo's brand positioning would shift toward “functionality and Scandinavian elegance” and away from sportiness, according to the Web site.
