BID TO SLOW TRAFFIC ON M3 STRETCH
Fri, 14 Feb 2014FIRST it was a stretch of the M1 and now the same speed reduction plan has been announced for a stretch of the M3 motorway in Surrey and Hampshire. The Highways Agency (HA) has proposed that a three-mile section of the M3 between junction 3 at Lightwater in Surrey and junction 4 near Farnborough in Hampshire be subject to a 60mph restriction. This section is part of a 13.4-mile stretch that is being upgraded in a £174 million scheme, with the 60mph proposal, to operate between 7am and 7pm daily so air quality levels can be met.
2015 Land Rover Defender heading for the U.S.
Wed, 03 Oct 2012Land Rover has revealed that when the 2015 Defender arrives it will be a world car and sold in the USA. So it’s not a huge surprise that Land Rover has revealed that the new Defender will be sold around the world, including in the US, where Land Rover Defenders haven’t been sold for fifteen years. We’re not really going to know exactly how Land Rover plan to market their two ranges – Land Rover and Range Rover – until the all new range of cars finishes rolling out over the next few years.

Thu, 28 Mar 2013The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG – Mercedes 4-door swoopy coupe version of the A45 AMG – has been officially revealed at the 2013 New York Auto Show. There was a time when smallish, powerful, four-door cars were a big deal, but as time has gone on that’s changed, with only the Japanese left to fly the flag. Now, with the demise of the WRX, that’s ending too.
