A leaked picture of the new Hyundai i40 / Sonata Hyundai has released sketches of the i40 as a tease ahead of the launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, but unfortunately for them we’ve received the picture you see at the top – and those in the photo gallery at the bottom – that show the real deal. Which sort of takes the edge off the ‘Stylised’ sketches Hyundai has released. Who's Where: Frank Stephenson appointed Director of Design for Alfa Romeo

Frank Stephenson began his new position as Director of Design at Alfa Romeo today, CDN can reveal. Stephenson left his role as Head of the Fiat, Lancia and Commercial Vehicle Styling Center last month and is now effectively filling a role that has been unoccupied since Wolfgang Egger left to become head of Audi's Style Center. Since Lorenzo Ramaciotti has been recently appointed to a newly created position as Cheif of Design at Fiat, Stephenson's previous position is now vacant.

Faralli and Mazzanti Antas V8

Farralli and Mazzanti, an Italian classic car restoration company, has created their first touring car, the Antas V8. Exhibited the other side of the border from Villa d'Este at the Top Marques exhibition in Monaco, the Antas V8 is also the first car created entirely in-house by Farralli and Mazzanti. Powered by a Maserati V8 - with carburettors - the Antas V8 is inspired both philosophically and materially by past 'special series'.
