German courts rule on status of rare Mercedes-Benz 500K roadster
Fri, 01 Jun 2012The saga of a rare 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500K roadster has taken yet another intriguing turn. German courts have ruled that the vehicle is the rightful property of German industrialist Hans Prym's grandchildren because it was illegally seized from Prym in 1945. Frans van Haren can't be too happy with the ruling.
2010 Mopar Challenger revealed!
Wed, 07 Jul 2010Dodge and Mopar are teaming to create a limited-edition Challenger for 2010 that wears triple black with popping blue stripes and has a goosed Hemi under the hood. The Mopar Challenger will be revealed later this month at the Chrysler museum near Detroit and at the NHRA’s Mile-High Nationals in Colorado, but pictures were released and specs were announced on Wednesday. This new muscle coupe arrives in dealers next month and will be limited to just 500 copies.
Audi R8 GT Spyder gets early unveiling at 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans
Sat, 11 Jun 2011The new Audi R8 GT Spyder got an early unveiling outside the Audi Racing Pavillion at the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans on Friday evening. The 552-hp V10 drop-top rocket uses carbon-fiber panels and a lightened interior to lower weight compared with the standard R8 5.2 FSI quattro Spyder. Audi claims 62 mph arrives in just 3.8 seconds, and the car tops out at 197 mph.
