- If the movie Over the Top was about backpacks instead of arm-wrestling,
the Stronghold would play the lead role. Padded shoulders with adjustable
webbing, chest closure and 3D mesh paneling provide multiple fit options.
Breathe easy with the custom-molded back panel, 3D mesh straps and
lightweight materials. The rip-stop chassis with multiple pockets and a 15”
laptop compartment provides a secure operating envelope. Unique
riding-specific features include a helmet carrier and waterproof rain fly.
Finally, black reflective taping and logos provide additional visibility in
low-light conditions. If you’re looking for the ultimate motorcycling
backpack, the Stronghold has got it on lock.
- Textile Ripstop chassis
- Sublimated graphics
- Screenprinted logos
- YKK custom zippers
- Hidden helmet carrier
- Storm cover
- Comfort fit chest closure system
- 15” laptop compartment
- Reflective trims

Detroit Electric is going ahead with production of its Lotus-based sports car in the lovely Detroit suburb of…Holland. Unfortunately it's not the coastal city in the western part of Michigan, but the one in northern Europe. The facility will begin production in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Detroit News.

Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti luxury brand will develop three all-new vehicles over the next three to four years: a compact sedan, a family-sized crossover and an electric luxury car based on the Nissan Leaf. The plan is part of Infiniti's goal to increase sales and market share in the United States and globally. In June, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn set a goal of more than tripling Infiniti's annual global sales to 500,000 units by 2016.

If the 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra II isn't quite your thing, why not give the 1984 Ford Mustang SVO a try? In the Jan. 3, 1983, issue of Autoweek, we previewed a different take on the pony car -- one that promised "visual subtlety with unsubtle performance."
Built on the Fox platform, the Mustang SVO (for "Special Vehicle Operations") wasn't supposed to be a flashy package for the wannabe racer -- it was designed from the ground up to be a balanced road car, "a state-of-the-art performance vehicle for the absolutely no-compromises performance buyer."
And when we say "ground up," we mean it.
