UP FOR AUCTION ARE A PAIR OF NICE USED FACTORY PICKUP TRUCK TAIL GATE HINGES BELIEVED TO BE FOR A IHC APPLICATIONS IN THE 70'S BUT, NOT 100% SURE NO PART NUMBER WAS FOUND. MEASURE 21" LONG WITH THE 2 BARS EXTENDED ONLY NOT WITH THE MOUNTING BRACKET. MOUNTING BRACKET MEASURES 3 1/2" ACROSS, MOUNTING HOLES ARE ON 2 3/4" CENTER TO CENTER. Audi wowed the crowd at CES with a new advancement in, of all things, headlights when it announced it would show a version of its Sport quattro laserlight Concept with laser beam headlights. Frickin' laser beams, as Dr. Evil once demanded on sharks (the good doctor ultimately had to settle for sea bass instead of sharks, but they still had laser beams).

Vauxhall/Opel will unveil the Corsavan concept at the Paris motor show tomorrow (Thursday 28), but there's more to it than meets the eye. The show car previews the forthcoming Corsa SRi, which will go head-to-head with the Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen's Polo GTi from spring 2007.

The New SEAT Leon ST Estate (pictured) has been revealed ahead of a Frankfurt debut As estate cars have become more stylish, more and more buyers have fallen in love with the idea of a ‘Wagon’ version as their family transport, as it now offers little downside and much more practicality. So it’s no wonder SEAT has decided to bite the bullet and launch an Estate version of the Leon – the Leon ST – as the third model in the Leon line-up. The ST estate shares its wheelbase with the five-door Leon but gets a small – and reasonably stylish – shed bolted on the back to offer 587 litres of space with the seats down and a reasonably commodious 1470 litres with the seats down.
