Volkswagen Polo 2014 update announced ahead of Geneva Motor Show

The Polo’s mid-life 2014 facelift features some delicately revised styling inside and out, as well as a new range of more efficient engines and even more technology packed inside the smart little cabin. Britain's best cars revealed: UK Car of the Year 2014

The inaugural UK Car of the Year Awards have been announced - naming the best models on sale in Britain today. MSN Cars' managing editor Tim Pollard was one of 27 UK judges, who have voted on the best cars in 11 categories. The first award goes to the Jaguar F-type, which picked up the best open-top car gong.

The Bonneville Jaguar XFR was piloted up Goodwood's Hillclimb by Wing Commander Andy Green There were two main highlights for Jaguar lovers at Goodwood – the first showing of the Goodwood Special XKR and the chance to see the Jaguar XFR that broke the Jaguar speed record at Bonneville last year (Jaguar XFR Bonneville Video). The Goodwood Special XKR is a one-off, Lime Green creation by Jaguar designed to show the harder side of the Jaguar XKR. It features 21″ wheels, the Lime Green paint job, bold graphics and tweaks to the XKR’s 5.0 litre V8 to give an extra 20 horses and a boost to the torque.
