Up for bid is a used Haynes Repair Manual for 1981 – 1993 Isuzu Pick-ups and 1984 – 1991 Isuzu Trooper vehicles – all 2WD and 4WD gasoline engine models. The manual has 280+ pages that cover tune ups and maintenance, engines, general engine overhaul procedures, cooling, heating and air conditioning systems, fuel and exhaust systems, engine electrical systems, emissions and engine control systems, manual transaxle, automatic transaxle, clutch and drive axles, brakes, suspension and steering systems, body, chassis electrical system and wiring diagrams. This manual is in great useable condition, but does show some signs of use, age and wear (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at a 9.7 for its overall condition. Ferrari P4/5 designer Castriota heads to Saab
Fri, 18 Jun 2010Jason Castriota, the noted designer who created the Ferrari P4/5 and the Maserati GranTurismo, is taking his talents to Saab. He will be in charge of design for the Swedish automaker as it looks to develop a new image after being sold by former parent General Motors, Bloomberg News reports. Castriota will work on developing an upscale model of the 9-3 and will try to bolster Saab to better compete with BMW and Audi.

General Motors to shut down Saab
Fri, 18 Dec 2009General Motors has announced that it will be closing the Saab brand after the company was unable to strike a deal with Spyker Cars. This follows from last month's withdrawal of would-be suitor Koenigsegg, leaving Spyker the sole contender in the acquisition of the ailing Swedish brand. According to Nick Reilly, GM's European president, the company has decided to cut its losses: "Despite the best efforts of all involved, it has become very clear that the due diligence required to complete this complex transaction could not be executed in a reasonable time.
