Goodwood Revival 2009 – Starts today
Fri, 18 Sep 2009The Goodwood Revival this year concentrates on all things 'Mini'. This year’s theme is ‘Swinging Sixties’ which gives us the excuse to run the shot of the Mini-Skirted lovelies at the top. There will be a recreation of Carnaby Street from its sixties heyday, with Saturday being ‘Ladies Day’ with the encouragement to wear the shortest skirts possible (I think there should be a ‘Leg Judge’ to qualify the participants, though – I know, chauvinist pig).

Named the Duster, the concept was designed as an image booster for Dacia, which makes the low-cost Logan car. The Duster is Dacia's first concept car and it was partly designed by a Renault design team based in Bucharest.

And financial controversy and freebies dogged him for a very long time, so in a way it’s apposite that this Rolls Royce / Range Rover dealer should jump in with product placement in such a crass way. It also adds to the tackiness of the funeral.
