Jaguar E-type Series 2 LHD  brake line kit
Cunifer- Copper nickel alloy

This is a complete new brake line which fits US spec left hand drive series 2 E-types.
This line kit is specifically made for your E-type. Each line is the correct original length with the correct flares and British type brake fittings. The lines come coiled as pictured. You bend the lines to match your originals. All of the flares have been formed with the correct size brake tube nuts installed.

There are 9 lines in total.

This kit includes all of the 3/16 brake line in your car, no clutch lines, no 1/4 inch master cylinder lines. If you are in need of those items let me know.

Cunifer brake line is copper-nickel-iron alloy approved hydraulic brake line. This type of brake line is made in England and comes as standard equipment on many exotic European cars. This brake line never rusts and can be polished to a high luster. The brake pipe is relatively easy to bend and makes a superior flare seal compared to steel or stainless steel line. Cunifer line allows a superior flare seal without over tightening the tube nuts. Each pipe is numbered so you know where it goes.

The line has been flared with a special nonmarring flaring tools approved by the manufacture (there are no little grip marks on the brake line). The bends are very easy to make and really quite a joy compared to working with steel lines.

Please note that the tube nuts in this kit are plated steel, not brass. Brass tube nuts strip easily and are not preferred.

Happy motoring. Be safe. Replace rusted brake lines.

I drove it to Burbank airport. Hit speeds of 130 km/hr, or 80 mph with ease. I don't know why I have been reticent to go fast in this thing.

Honda Civic Type-R MUGEN (2009) first official pictures

Mon, 22 Jun 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 22 June 2009 18:00 Honda's Mugen Motorsports performance tuning arm has released the first official pictures of the company's stripped-out Civic Type-R hot hatch. Details are still sketchy, but let's start with the visual changes. There's a deeper and wider front spoiler (sans fog lights), a new grille, a vented bonnet, plus vents just behind the front wheels.  At the back the Civic's triangular exhausts have been replaced by two huge bazooka tailpipes, which fit beneath a more angular rear bumper, and there's also a double-decker wing to make rear visibilty even worse.

GM considers flagship sedan for Cadillac

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Cadillac is considering a large, flagship sedan to take on the Mercedes-Benz S-class and BMW 7-series, a top General Motors official says. Mark Reuss, GM's president for North America, told Automotive News last month that a new flagship is on the table as GM maps its go-global strategy for Cadillac. A flagship would be a continuation of how GM has been positioning Cadillac's lineup to go head-to-head in each segment with BMW, Mercedes and Audi.
