Peugeot confirms Dakar rally motorsport return for 2015

It brings to an end a 25-year absence from the off-road endurance race for Peugeot, which it won four times (1987, 1988 1989 and 1990). Peugeot will enter a rally raid-spec 2008 crossover (called the 2008 DKR) in the 16-day event, which runs over 16 days, beginning on January 5, and cover a distance of 5281 miles.

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible likely

It looks like Bentley are planning a convertible version of the Supersports Bentley introduced the Continental Supersports back at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. A stripped-out (it only has two seats), flex-fuel powerhouse of a Continental, it is the quickest car in Bentley’s stable. With the Tesla Roadster at the end of its life, and then Model S Saloon about to hit the road (probably), Tesla are moving on to the next instalment of their electric car pilgrimage - the Tesla Model X. We had expected the Model X – which is based on the same underpinnings as the Model S Saloon – to debut by the end of 2011.
