“Has 2 good studs at bottom, should be chased with a die, has 2 good threads, but should be cleaned with a tap.. Has a broken bolt in top, that holds heat shield. Would need to be extracted if heat shield is being used.”

This is a good exhaust manifold, Front. for late series II or series III with fuel injection.The 2 lower studs are good, but should be chased with a die. The 2  lower stud threads are  good, but should be cleaned with a tap... Buy Jaguar studs, do NOT use American studs. They are a few dollars each from SNG Barratt. The top bolt that holds the heat shield is broken. Volkswagen mulls new Phaeton for the US market

Volkswagen is giving some serious thought to bringing back the Phaeton sedan to the U.S., Automotive News reports. We haven't seen the Phaeton since 2006, when it was withdrawn from the North American market after lackluster sales. Built at the same factory as the much more expensive Bentley Continental GT and sharing much of the underlying mechanicals, the Volkswagen Phaeton managed to be a slower seller in the U.S.

We have video of Jaguar’s Mike Cross taking the new Jaguar F-Type up the hillclimb at Goodwood as Jaguar show off their new toy. We thought we were pretty much done and dusted with news from this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, but as Jaguar has finally managed to edit a video of the new Jaguar F-Type at the FoS we thought it worth revisiting one more time. Jaguar made a bit of a show of the camouflaged F-Type at Goodwood – its first public outing – with guards standing outside the container the F-Type was housed in to keep sticky fingers and prying eyes at bay.
