Jaguar XK120 LHD Tandem master cylinder brake line kit
Cunifer- Copper nickel alloy

This is a complete new brake line which fits US spec left hand drive Jaguar XK120s with the tandem master cylinder ( two outlet ports).
This line kit is specifically made for your XK120. Each line is the correct original length with the correct flares and British type brake fittings. The lines come coiled as pictured. You bend the lines to match your originals. All of the flares have been formed with the correct size brake tube nuts installed.

The four upper and lower reservoir lines are included in this kit.

There are 13 lines in total.

Please note that early XK120s have a single outlet master cylinder. The kits are very different. I have kits for the single master cylinder cars as well.

Cunifer brake line is copper-nickel-iron alloy approved hydraulic brake line. This type of brake line is made in England and comes as standard equipment on many exotic European cars. This brake line never rusts and can be polished to a high luster. The brake pipe is relatively easy to bend and makes a superior flare seal compared to steel or stainless steel line. Cunifer line allows a superior flare seal without over tightening the tube nuts. Each pipe is numbered so you know where it goes.

The line has been flared with a special nonmarring flaring tools approved by the manufacture (there are no little grip marks on the brake line). The bends are very easy to make and really quite a joy compared to working with steel lines.

Please note that the tube nuts in this kit are plated steel, not brass. Brass tube nuts strip easily and are not preferred.

Happy motoring. Be safe. Replace rusted brake lines.

Lexus LF-LC turns blue for Australian motor show

Thu, 18 Oct 2012

Lexus has changed the color of its LF-LC for the 2012 Australian motor show in Sydney. We first saw the LF-LC in January at the 2012 Detroit auto show where it appeared in deep metallic red. To spice it up for the Australian show, Lexus has sprayed the exterior Opal Blue, inspired by the base color found in the naturally occurring semi-precious opal stone found in the Australian outback.

Porsche Macan ‘FAILS’ Moose Test – but there’s a reason (+video)

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

The Porsche Macan locks its front brake in the Moose Test The Moose (or Elk) test is a maneuverability and stability test commonly carried out in cold countries to test the behaviour of cars when subject to extreme avoidance tests – such as when trying to miss a Moose that’s wandered in to the road. The Moose Test is probably best remembered as the potential downfall of the original Mercedes A Class, when Teknikens Värld  Magazine conducted a test on the then very new – and groundbreaking – high-riding A-Class, when it rolled over and cost Mercedes a small fortune in re-engineering to restore safety credibility to the A-Class. Now it’s Porsche’s turn to come under the spotlight after Teknikens Värld ran a test on a Macan S Diesel that exhibited some strange behaviour during the test.

Skoda Fabia and Roomster: the 2010 facelifts

Thu, 25 Feb 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 25 February 2010 23:05 Skoda's big news at the 2010 Geneva motor show is a brace of facelifts: the Fabia and Roomster duo both receive a cosmetic makeover, new engines and a smattering of fresh tech to keep mpg up and emissions down.As these first pictures confirm, this is a modest facelift. The massaged radiator grille and reprofiled, wider headlamps are the most obvious changes, but there's also a looping detail line on the bonnet that swoops down to encircle the badge, reminding us of the hood on the latest BMW 5-series.The changes are also rolled out to the muddy-puddles Scout models. And what's all this about a new Fabia vRS hot hatch?Ah yes.
