I have for sale a JB4 G4 performance chip for an e92 BMW 335i. It was installed on a 2007 335i, which makes it compatible with 2006-2010 e92 models. The reason I am selling is because I bought it off eBay under the impression that it was a G5 board. I ran it with the G5 firmware uploaded, and it worked but was acting very unusual, always throwing codes and reverting to the failsafe map. Eventually I took the case off to find out which board it was and just as a suspected, it was a G4. I am selling the BOARD ONLY, no harness or case. I am buying the G5 board and need to keep the case and harness.
I would keep this board if it weren't for the fact that I also bought speed delimiter and launch control modules which are only compatible with the G5; they are completely useless to me without the G5, my car won't even start with the, properly installed. Before installing, my 335i was hitting 7psi with stock turbos. With this performance chip installed, I am now hitting 17psi, racing M3s, and have a 0-60 time in the low 4s. Again, I would keep it if it weren't for the extras I already bought for the G5. There is nothing wrong with it, and this is a MUST HAVE if you own a 335i. Life after a jb4 is just...different. |

Lincoln's big ad is a FAIL, LOL, OMG
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The automotive punditsphere mocked Lincoln's "Steer The Script" campaign when it was announced, in typical teaser form, a few months ago.
