Mon, 01 Jul 2013The Alfa Romeo 4C (pictured) out on track – on video The Alfa Romeo 4C has been on its way for longer than it should have been. But Alfa Romeo finally got round to revealing the 4C in prodiction spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month will get to see the 4C strutting its stuff up the hillclimb. But ahead of that dynamic debut, Alfa has released new video of the 4C out playing on the Balocco Racetrack in Italy, with a few wailing exhausts notes but far to much dramatic music as a soundtrack.

We’re sure Saab don’t see it that way, having no doubt slaved away for the last year to get business back to some sense of normality after the GM sale debacle, but from outside that’s how it seems. Fri, 03 Aug 2012Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.
