New speed cameras planned for motorways
Wed, 05 Feb 2014NEW SPEED CAMERAS painted grey and placed along large sections of the UK’s motorway could be introduced within two years. The Highways Agency is looking to increase the amount of ‘managed motorway’ on the network – sections where the overall speed of traffic is adjusted up and down to avoid traffic jams and to allow the use of hard-shoulder running. Currently sections of the M25 and M40 operate variable speed limits Under new plans however cameras will be placed on large sections of motorway designed to catch drivers exceeding the overall 70mph limit.
College Exhibition: Art Center Summer Show 2011 - Non-thesis work

Besides their main crux of thesis projects, nine graduating students in the acclaimed Transportation Design course showcased some of the designs they worked on during their internships and in previous years. Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV (PHEV) Paris 2012 debut
Mon, 18 Jun 2012A production version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Mitsubishi has already had a couple of stabs at a plug-in hybrid Outlander EV, with the PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and then again with the imaginatively named PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show. But now we’re about to get the production version.
