Bentley-designed Santa’s sleigh
Wed, 17 Dec 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 17 December 2008 14:30 We reckon Father Christmas is probably a bit of a Bentley guy: he has a large number of miles to cover in speed and in great comfort – and he needs something big and plush to look after all those presents. In it, presenters Mike Brewer and Edd China will restore their 100th car. To promote its return, the programme has asked more than 2,000 people to vote for what they think is the greatest car of all time – as well as the top 10 previously embarrassing cars they’d now like to own.
BMW 1-Series gets 4WD xDrive
Mon, 17 Sep 2012BMW has announced that the 1-Series will be offered with xDrive 4WD on the 120d and M135i. But the UK won’t get the M135i xDrive. The last few winters in the UK, with heavy snow falls and lots of slip-sliding, has focused drivers’ minds on the benefits of 4WD, so the announcement by BMW that they’re going to offer xDrive on the 1-Series will be welcome news.
