Condition:Used Brand:Amc Manufacturer Part Number:232

For your consideration, a used 232 jeep engine.  Had only around 25000 miles on it from new. Still has the honing marks in the cylinders.  Came out of a very low mileage jeep dispatcher (not a postal, left hand drive sold to a private business)

Rain had gotten into the carb, and froze in one of the cylinders, damaging the piston and rod.  Cylinder itself appears ok.
I have the head to it, which I had removed to evaluate the problem...
Looks like it's possible to just replace one piston on and rod. All internal components are like new, no sludge.  Engine ran like a clock last summer, unfortunately somebody left the hood open during a rain. Did not realize water had gotten into the cylinder thru the intake.
Won't take much to get this almost new engine up and running.
Sold as is, buyer must pick up.
Please email questions...thanks

Nissan Ellure concept (2010) unveiled

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The Nissan Ellure has today made its world debut at the 2010 LA auto show. Nissan's senior vice president and chief creative officer, Shiro Nakamura states that 'it's not intended as a preview of any upcoming production model' and that 'the Ellure confirms Nissan’s intention to be a strong player in the sedan segment for many years to come' An interesting u-turn, as Nissan has steadfastly pioneered niche markets over the last decade, whilst turning their back on the traditional sectors. Well, the drivetrain's worth a mention: the Ellure boasts a supercharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control (one motor/two clutch design with lithium-ion battery) and 25 kW electric motor.

Ford FF1 road-legal single-seater at 2013 Goodwood FoS. Heading for production?

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

The Ford FF1 – a single-seat, road-legal track car powered by Ford’ 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine – will get a public debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Ford built the FF1 as a showcase for the abilities of its little 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and it’s more than proved the point that modern 3-cylinder engines with small displacements and a bit of forced induction can be very appealing. In standard trim the FF1 produces 123 horses, but suitably tweaked to deliver a more fulsome 202 horses the FF1 took on the Nurburgring and managed to turn in a time of just 7:22 – quicker than a Zonda F, Enzo Ferrari, Nissan GT-R and 911 GT2 RS.
